Understanding the streak
How streaks reward consistency without punishing missed days.
Updated: 2026-04-15
A streak is the number of consecutive days the child has met the agreed rules.
How it grows
A day counts as a streak day when:
- Daily screen-time limit is respected.
- At least one task is completed (if any active tasks exist).
- No SOS event was triggered.

Streak freezes
Once per week the child gets one freeze. If they miss a day, the freeze is consumed instead of resetting the streak. This protects against sick days and travel.
Why streaks?
Streaks build the habit of self-regulation. We deliberately avoid harsh resets — children stay motivated even after a tough week.
