Xiaomi: enabling autostart

Xiaomi's MIUI and HyperOS aggressively kill background apps unless Autostart is enabled.

Steps

1. Open Settings.
2. Search for Autostart (or Permissions > Autostart).
3. Find SafeKids Kid in the list.
4. Toggle the switch on.

Also recommended

Settings > Battery > App battery saver > SafeKids Kid > No restrictions.

Settings > Apps > Manage apps > SafeKids Kid > Other permissions > Show on Lock screen: Allow.

Verify

Restart the phone. Open the parent app — the kid profile should be green within 1 minute of boot.
